All of us at Fred Beans Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Doylestown, PA know it's our duty, our obligation, to keep you and your family as safe as possible when you take home one of our new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or RAM vehicles. So, of course, when a recall comes up, announced by the automaker, we have to make sure you know as quickly as possible as to avoid any potential accidents. Unfortunately, this is one of those times, but it's important for any RAM truck drivers out there.

If you own a RAM 1500 made between June 26, 2012 and February 5, 2013, then this first recall concerns you. The issue at hand involves the Electronic Stability Control system. There is a chance that it won't initiate when you start our truck, which could lead to a loss of directional control.

The second recall concerns the RAM 4500 and 5500 models. If yours was built between January 22, 2013 and March 8, 2013, then there may be an issue with the bolt used to connect the track bar to the frame. Should the bolt malfunction, the vehicle will pull hard to the side, increasing risk for an accident.

Chrysler will be sending out letters in the mail to alert you, should your vehicle be one of the many affected. If you get the news, then give our service center a call to schedule an appointment and our auto repair team can fix you up. Since this is a recall, the service will be provided quickly and completely free of charge, so you can get back on the road worry-free.
