Between 300 and 400 cars were used in the 6th Fast and Furious movie, the franchise we've come to know and love for its awesome automotive action, cheesy chase scenes, and, perhaps best of all, the souped-up sports cars that get our mouths watering. However, of those several hundred cars used, only a very intimate group survived the explosions and crashes. All of us here at Fred Beans Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are proud to say that two of these stalwart survivors were Dodge vehicles.

The first of the two was the Dodge Challenger SRT. Being a new car, it had very little modification done to it, speaking volumes about how incredible the performance on this bad boy is right out of the box. The two changes they made were locking diffs and a massive e-brake handle to make sure drifts and slides came exactly on cue.

The second was the Dodge Charger SRT. A new matte paint job and extra bumper guards gave this model a unique look for the movie. A trunk-mounted winch was also added for a scene involving an airplane. We don't know the details on this yet but, judging by the franchise's continued one-upmanship against all previous releases, we bet it's going to be pretty crazy.

We're incredibly proud to see both of these amazing vehicles appear in the movie and make it through in one piece. If you'd like to see what makes them special, come on down to 858 North Easton Road in Doylestown, OA 18902 and take one or any other in our new Dodge lineup out for a spin today. We'd love to answer any questions you have and explain all features in any vehicle that interests you.
